Adulticiding

Although larviciding is our preferred treatment method, it is inevitable that adult mosquitoes will emerge at times. When this occurs, BVVCD will make an adulticide application, also known as "fogging".

To apply adulticides, we drive our ATV or our pick-ups that are equipped with ultra-low volume (ULV) foggers at low speeds in the areas that need treatment.

We make our adulticiding applications between dusk and dawn to target mosquitoes when they are the most active.
